There are technology offerings offered at all four ISDs throughout the year. There are also other organizations that offer technology Professional Development and a great place to start is Michigan's Learnport. 21things Hands-On Activity and Assignment:


1. Depending on the ISD you belong to create an account on their registration system. Check out the PD and make note of PD in your portfolio that you may pursue in the next year.

2. Go to LearnPort and register for a free account. Check out the courses available to you as well as the community rooms in the collaboration center. Either create your own room or sign up for one that interests you. Post a question and/or answer a question in one of the "rooms".  Capture a screen shot and create a reflection for your portfolio.  

3. During this course you have participated in a number of virtual classroom webinars with your instructor(s).  Write a paragraph on how the use of online professional development is changing education in the 21st century.


Additional Resources:

During this course, you may have been exposed to AdobeConnect Pro.  However, there are free versions on the web that will allow you to record or broadcast your computer screen.

Consider capturing screen shots of your work and creating video files for sharing in a "how to" video library at Screencast-o-matic or by downloading Jing.
